Teaching staff at Baringa State Primary School use school incursions and excursions to reinforce the national curriculum, make it applicable to the real world, and also expand and develop students capabilities.
Incursions or excursions are scheduled every term for all students in years P-6. Incursions are held on school premises by external suppliers and examples include World of Science, Nextus theatre performances, Starlab and Historical society visits.
All excursions are planned in advance and parental permission to attend will be sought prior to the event. Participation incurs a small fee.
