Teaching staff at Baringa State Primary School use school incursions and excursions to reinforce the national curriculum, make it applicable to the real world, and also expand and develop students capabilities.
Incursions or excursions are scheduled every term for all students in years P-6. Incursions are held on school premises by external suppliers and examples include Street Science, Animal Farm, Australia Zoo, Camp Maranatha (Year 5), Creative Generations, Living History, Skateboarding, Boardriders and much more.
All excursions are planned in advance and parental permission to attend will be sought prior to the event. Participation incurs a small fee.
